Matts Auto Repair Services is a family run local independent garage located in Bishops Stortford town centre, We have been operating on this site in Bryan Road CM23 2HR for the past 6 years. We continue to grow through recommendations and loyal customers. What We Provide

MOT'S

The MOT test checks that your vehicle meets road safety and environmental standards.

You must get an MOT for your vehicle by either

• the third anniversary of its registration

• the anniversary of its last MOT, if it’s over 3 years old

At MARS we have Three Mot testers who carry out yearly training to keep up to date with current test methods.

GENERAL SERVICING

At M.A.R.S. we service all makes and models and can also service vehicles in manufacturer warranty using genuine parts. We also offer a variety of servicing options, ranging from £89! Call us now for your quote. Keep your car healthy!!

Your car should be serviced every year weather its on time or mileage to make sure its at its optimum performance. We can also carry out servicing on Vehicles that are in manufacturers warranty using genuine parts.

ALL REPAIRS

All repairs including: Exhausts, Suspension, Steering, Alternators, Cooling system repairs, Batteries with 4 year warranties, Cambelts, Clutches Air conditioning (all techs are qualified to handle the gas) and Brake repairs.

We do electrical issues, starter motors, non start and recovery, breakdowns. Our repairs come with a 12 month warranty.

WHEEL ALIGNMENT

Wheel alignment is something that is very over looked, usual signs of that your vehicle is out of alignment is vehicle drifting, or tyres wearing uneven.
From just £35 we can check and adjust your wheel alignment
We own a state of the art computerised four wheel alignment system, that will provide you with before and after printouts to show where your vehicle needed adjusting.

AIR CONDITIONING

Weather its the warmer months or colder months your vehicle uses the air conditioning system more than you think.

here at mars we have machines for both the new and old systems. the older system is a gas called r134a which is the most common. from 2014/2015 a newer more expensive gas is called 1234yf. if your unsure on what system you have please contact us and we will let you know. our services start at £37.50

its recommend that systems are serviced and regassed every two years.

Being a local Bishops Stortford mechanics we wanted to provide excellent service to our customers so we set about employing experienced service advisor Chris brown who’s background is also in Ford and BMW. When Moving into the workshop straight away we set out to improve the site with various upgrades that included a whole new lighting setup, a brand new workshop floor and professional signage. We are a modern ambitious forward thinking company and we keep up with the times.

  Always have such amazing service here. Have had brakes and pads done, recovery and recently, my car failed it’s MOT. The team were wonderful and tried everything to ensure I got a pass. I wouldn’t go anywhere else now and to find a local garage with such great customer service is reassuring to know.

  Probably the best garage I've ever used! Very good service and value for money. They go to a great effort to get you the best bargain prices. No undue costs. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

  Normally they are very good and reliable, but on the last service the "oil change now" warning wasn't reset. The mileage counter is on 0 as well. I went back to get it sorted, but they didn't manage to do anything and promised to do some research and call me in a couple of days. That was a while back now so I'm still getting the warning every time I start the car.
